Welcome to our Licensed and ABRS and Pony Club Approved Riding Centre
Our super team of 55 horses and ponies vary in size from 11hh to 17hh and can help you enjoy riding whether a beginner or advanced rider. The Coloured Cob Equestrian team provide the best horse riding lessons in Nottinghamshire, designed to help you master the rising trot, have a first canter, gallop through the beautiful surroundings of Creswell Crags, in Derbyshire.
Jump fences or perform dressage moves such as half pass and flying changes.

With a range of super instructors and their excellent tuition, you can reach all your riding goals and ambitions. Sharon, UKCC qualified equine coach, is our owner, and heads up our great team of humans and horses and does her best to ensure you enjoy your riding.
BETA Standards. Safety First
We provide the hats (up to current BETA standards) or if you bring your own, we will check that it is up to current to standards as your safety is paramount to us. We would kindly ask that you wear suitable footwear and long trousers to the ankle. We do have a tack shop on site if you’d like to purchase any equestrian wear. On arrival, you will asked to complete paperwork and then you’ll be taken to the mounting block (as this is kinder for the horse) to get on your horse.
There is a weight limit of 15 stone
We do weigh new riders on arrival and we are insured for children to ride from the age of 2yrs.
